Code & Create: Kids Develop Educational Video Games Using Scratch and Python

What happens when you combine coding, creativity, and education? You get Code & Create, the foundation’s new program that teaches children aged 10 to 14 how to develop educational video games. Using tools like Scratch and Python, participants have created games that teach math, science, and environmental awareness. “It’s amazing to see kids using their creativity to learn and teach others,” said Javier Morales, the program director. The best projects are available on a free educational platform, taking learning to an interactive and fun level.
