TechKids: New Initiative Teaches Electronics and Coding to Young Children

The foundation has launched TechKids, a program designed to introduce children aged 8 to 12 to the fascinating world of electronics and coding. Through hands-on workshops, kids learn to build simple circuits, program using tools like Scratch, and create projects such as sensor-controlled LED lights. “We want children to see technology as something fun and accessible,” said Ana López, the program coordinator. With over 1,000 children already benefiting from the pilot phase, TechKids promises to be a breeding ground for future innovators.
